Believe in Your Dreams
“It is better to risk starving to death than surrender. If you give up on your dreams, what’s left?”— Jim Carrey.
A dream is a God-given projection of one’s future. Your dream is the blueprint of your destiny, it bears the trajectory of your life. It is who God intends you to be. Your dream gives special meaning and a sense of purpose to your life when you discover it.
So what is your dream in life? Denis Waitley once said that we’ve got to find a dream if we are going to make a dream come true. God has already ordained an amazing one for you. You’ve got to find out what it is that you were born to do. Don’t just live for nothing; discover your dream and make your life count.
It takes courage to dream. I dare you to have the courage to not just dream but dream big. Dream big, even if it scares you. Let your dream stretch your faith.
Base your dream on the infinite possibilities found in the power of God that will make it happen. It is God’s will for you to dream big.
For you to be great and exceptional, you must dream big.
All through history, great people are those who have dared to dream big. These people have shaken the world by their dreams. It is through this that they have shaped the world we live in today.
Ordinary people become great by pursuing and fulfilling extraordinary dreams!
The road to your destiny may be long and challenging; the ride may be bumpy but at the end it is worth it. The difficulty is just but a pathway to your greatness. Champions do not let their obstacles stop them; instead they use them as stepping stones to catapult them to greater heights.
Don’t let the fear of failure cripple you. Sometimes the going may get tough and your dream may seem like a distant horizon.
Hurricanes of doubt, failure, pain and hardships may try to steal your dream-do not quit! These are the dream killers that you may have to overcome along the way. Do not panic, do not give up. In such moments, let your faith In God come alive. Hold fast unto your dream and trust in Him. He will grant you the grace to go through and stay on course.
In fact, The Bible assures us inIsaiah 40:31that God will renew our strength and give us wings to fly and soar to new heights.
One of the mistakes most people make is letting others talk them out of their dreams. It is not everybody that will believe in your dream. Not everyone will see your vision. Ask Joseph! It is amazing how his own brothers did not believe in His dream. They mocked and discouraged him, but he did not give up. Don’t listen to the nay sayers. Align yourself with people that are optimistic, people that will inspire you to live your dreams.
You must know that your dream is still alive, it is still there, deep in your heart. This is your time to pick up those dropped dreams within you. Don’t allow them to lay dormant and collect dust. Have the courage to pursue them. Rise up and do what God called you to do, no matter what it takes. Believe in your dream, it is possible.
